ETS2 Gearbox issues. When driving around in any truck it will always start me in gear 3 and then by the time i am at 60 mph on the moterway i will be in 12th gear at the highest revs. Even when i put it in to manual this still happens because I have to change gears all the time unless i want to red line it any time i change gears.
So, a gearbox 11.32-1.00, diff 2.71 @ 1500 RPMs would make the rear wheels turn @ 49 RPMs and a truck's tyre 315/70R22.5 @ 49 RPM would be going at ~ 5 MPH. So ELi5 Bigger numbers on both dif. and first numbers are easier on the engine?Transmission gear ratios are expressed as Engine Revs:Output Shaft Revs. As such a 15:1 gear ratio will mean 15 revolutions of an engine for 1 revolution of the transmission output shaft. Overdrive gears are when the engine revolutions are less than the output shaft (i.e. a 0.75:1 overdrive gear will mean the engine turns 3/4 a revolution for 1
