The car has a slight bobble on idle when cold and drives with no misfire or smoke however, no power (like the turbo is not working). Fault code P2263.
Hello has anyone removed, cleaned and or replaced a egr valve on a Ford Focus 2006 1.8 TDCI I have been having problems with the EGR valve on my car since 2012. Typical symptoms are little hesitations when pulling away, or when gently taking up power after decelerating, or just when driving under light load.

Yeah it’s definitely worth it for about £4 for the blanking plate, saves the egr having further issues and costing £100s, mines on 150k as well so probably only a matter of time before it went. My car makes a loud ticking noise, it's always there and gets louder with revs, it seems to be in time with the engine noise. The car drives ok but a bit worried about it. My 2011 plate focus had engine warning light on and diagnostics have revealed an issue with my EGR valve. Before lumping out £350 odd I wanted to try the Wynns spray but not sure where it needs to be applied. Any help ie pics of the pipes to remove to apply would be greatly appreciated.
